We are ideally placed to enjoy the villages and towns, try Shaftesbury with its most photographed street, or Sherborne with its independent shops, and its nearby castle and Abbey.
Sturminster Newton Mill dates back to 1086 and sprung back into life during the pandemic
There are many heritage sites, such as Cerne Abbas with its “Rudeman” , Kingston Lacey House Estate and Stour Head with those wonderful gardens.
There are nearby ancient woodlands and the Stour valley Way. Walk signposted from the Carpark
And we are so very close to the Dorset Showground.
